The book sheds light on volcanoes - their nature, their formation, and their eruptions, as well as the damage and the benefits they bring to both nature and man, through an exciting journey into the world of volcanoes. The journey is undertaken by two young boys who travel to Africa to learn all about volcanoes, their secrets and their impact on the natural environment, humans and animals. The two boys are accompanied by the director of the volcano observatory. Their presence in Africa coincides with the eruption of a volcano, which makes them ponder the nature of volcanic eruptions and the bearing they have on the world around them.
